Event Day Check-List

As I write this, we’re doing final preps for the launch of Malindo Air’s Melbourne routes to Bali and KL. While the topic is fresh, I thought it might be handy to share a basic event day check-list to help you make sure the final touches are just-so for your next event…
Have you confirmed your final list of attendees and sent them a reminder email?
Have you gathered any dietary requirements?
Is the seating plan arranged accordingly?
Venue & Catering
Is the venue updated with final numbers and dietaries?
Is the stylist (florals/props/napery/furniture/etc.) all prepped and ready to bump in at the right time?
Are the bump out arrangements made and confirmed with the venue?
Are any printed items like place cards, menus, etc. ready and perfect?
Are gift bags ready to go?
Speech notes written and briefed?
Any other entertainment briefed and confirmed?
Is the photographer/videographer briefed and ready to roll?
Do you have a media release prepped to circulate after the event?
Any relevant media notified?
Is there a social media exposure plan in place, including great visual opportunities and promoting tags to attendees?
Any influencers or talent to brief and confirm?
Have you made time to brief event staff and suppliers on the running of the night?
