The Store Room Venue Launch Publicity


Hidden away from prying eyes, The Store Room is one of the best kept secrets in St Kilda, Melbourne. This charming and eclectic cocktail bar (once barber shop) is filled with intriguing collectables and is the perfect destination to start or finish a night out. Featuring an automated phone inside the hidden doorway, guests must dial ‘2’ to request their exclusive entry.

Over six weeks in early 2018, we worked collectively with The Store Room team to execute an extremely successful media and influencer relations campaign around their launch.

Our media relations campaign involved well planned, targeted pitching, resulting in broad exposure across various media outlets, positioning The Store Room as one of Melbourne’s must-try speakeasy bars.

Highlights from the campaign include securing coverage in the Herald Sun, The Age, Broadsheet, Time Out, The Urban List, The Weekly Review, Taste, Qantas Travel Insider and a fantastic visit from Bachelor stars, Kiera Maguire and Jarrod Woodgate! This resulted in over $ 320,978 in PR value, reaching a total of over 12,300,000 people (with even more results pending at time of publication!).
