Hauntville Halloween Festival


THE BRIEF

A truly-scary, heart-pounding Halloween festival, Hauntville was launched for the first time ever in Melbourne in October 2018. littleBIG worked with the Hauntville team to deliver a PR and Marketing campaign. Our job? Create awareness of Hauntville, increase ticket sales and spook Melburnians!

THE APPROACH

Media relations was a core part of the PR campaign, drawing upon Halloween’s growing popularity over the past 5 years, along with an advertising campaign across radio, print, digital.

This activity was supplemented by gifting tickets to social media influencers and social media advertising, targeting a mix of families and millennials.

THE RESULTS

  • The campaign reached a whopping 88,360,697!
  • 96 pieces of coverage were achieved across an 8 week campaign.
  • The PR value achieved was valued at $1,666,590
  • The advertising value achieved was $555,530
  • Hauntville festival was included in Broadsheet, Concrete Playground, Timeout and Weekend Notes. It was also advertised on Nova radio and plastered on street posters and billboards in highly visible areas across Melbourne.
  • 7,000 link clicks were achieved through to the Hauntville website.
