It’s been another massive year at littleBIG HQ – we’ve added new team members, met wonderful and inspiring clients, delivered a huge variety of creative and effective work, had glorious holidays and celebrated weddings, birthdays and premiership wins.
As we begin to wrap it all up, we reflect on the year that was…
We climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge with Dr. Martens
Yep, that’s right. In July this year, we were lucky enough to launch the new ultra-lightweight DM’s Lite range with a number of exclusive media guests along the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Who would have ever thought you could climb the Bridge in Docs? This street-style range makes it all possible and they’ve been a huge hit ever since.
We conquered the West
We like to think we did anyway. We’ve had a couple of brilliant clients based in Melbourne’s booming western suburbs and we’re keen to add more to the fold.
We helped Central West Shopping Centre celebrate the launch of their wonderful new parent’s room with a mural by urban artist, Bonsai, and gave a local young artist the chance to learn from the best. They also received plenty of attention for their Made in Braybrook weekend market.
Leroys Café in Newport is a hit among foodies across all of Melbourne and we’ve been letting them know all about it. Well worth the trip over the bridge, our pick is the OMG Pancake for a proper treat (with whipped ricotta coffee cream, salted coffee cacao, hazelnut crumb, popping candy, burnt fig ice-cream and chocolate fairy floss). Do it!
We went on tour with Skechers and Ashy Bines
Not literally. But Skechers did proudly sponsor the Ashy Bines Booty Tour and we were so pleased to be a part of the process. As a result of our hard yards, you would have seen Ashy travelling all over Aus and NZ in her Skechers Burst, putting them to good use on stage.
We totally worked it all over social media
With the addition of social media whiz, Grace, to our team, we’ve been heavily working it on socials – increasing our on-the-ground/keyboard presence and hosting a number of workshops too. Some beautiful brands we’ve had the pleasure of working with include Access Sketch, Finch & Lane, Picabooki, Wellineux and just recently, the Cat Protection Society of Victoria.
We ate a lot of great food and drank a lot of great wine
In addition to Leroys mentioned above, we have been fortunate enough to eat, drink and spread the good word with some of the best in 2016. In no particular order… Juno & May, Winemakers of Rutherglen, Hawthorn Common, Meatball & Wine Bar, Australian Blueberry Growers’ Association and Sustainable Table. We’ve been blessed.
The littleBIGs will be taking a well-earned break over the holiday period with the office closed from Friday 23 December 2016 to Monday 2 January 2017.
Business as usual from Tuesday 3 January 2017.
To all of our clients, friends and fans – thank you for another beautiful year. Happy Holidays!
