Fonda Windsor opened its doors for the first time quietly this Monday. We are already obsessed with spending time there.
The bright, airy fit-out is welcoming and shows off the old bones of the building, which was once home to the Salvos, marvellously. Kudos to architects Techne and design team Goldenhen for creating the inspired space.
You can pick few differences between the Windsor menu and the 18-month old Fonda Richmond menu, but some additional items truly do stand out. The scrumptious Fish Burrito is reminiscent of their famous fish taco, only bigger and more hearty, and the first Fonda Soup is perfect when you’re after a light meal. Plus creating Mexican waves across Melbourne is their Pumpkin Salad, complete with your favourite beans, and other healthy delights, you couldn’t ask for a better lunch option.
You can read about what Broadsheet thought of the new digs here! And we strongly recommend you head in to give it a whirl soon.
