Skechers S Light Event


Global footwear giant, Skechers, rolled out an exciting new S Light collection for kids earlier this year. The future of party footwear, the S-Lights range features translucent mid-soles with LED lights that can be activated by a simple press of an on/off button on the tongue of the sneaker, with seven solid light colours and eleven light sequence options available.

We were tasked with creating an exciting, fun event concept to celebrate the launch and create social media buzz around the new collection.

Through strategic brainstorming, we came up with a fun event involving plenty of fun for the kids and relaxation for the mums in attendance, with Trolls the movie playing whilst masseuses provided massages throughout. We also ensured the new range was highlighted with a balloon wall and props, as well as having shoes ready for all attendees upon arrival.

littleBIG rolled out the entire process from RSVP management, supplier research, media release distribution, invitation development, facilitation on the day and follow-up with all attendees.

Well-known Melbourne influencers including Bec Douros, Sanchia Sevel, Jess Dempsey and Olivia Anderson attended on the day, publicising the new range to our desired target audience.

Post event, we secured $162,669 in PR value around the new collection, reaching 624,412 Australians!
